A massive 8-story development is being pushed through with little community input. This is our chance to speak up.
We are Greater Golden Hill — neighbors working together to protect the livability, diversity, and character of our community.
The Projects We’re Working to Pause
Two major development projects are moving forward in our neighborhood:
A Street Project
an 8-story, 180-unit building directly across from Albert Einstein Academy Elementary School
28th Street Canyon Homes
Proposed housing development impacting the canyon along 28th Street
Many in our community first learned about these projects at a public meeting on May 20. Since then, neighbors have come together to better understand what’s being planned and to ask for more time and transparency before decisions are made.
We believe that large-scale development should reflect the needs and values of our community — not happen without meaningful public input. Our goal is to pause these projects to give residents the opportunity to:
Learn more about what’s being proposed
Discuss the potential impacts
Work with developers and city officials toward more thoughtful outcomes
